| Why Risk a Flooded Basement? | |||||||||
| Many homes in the U.S. and Canada have been built where the footer-drains on the outside of the
house have been piped INTO the house to a submerged crock in the basement or crawl space. When it rains hard or in the spring when snow melts,
there is a lot of water coming through this pipe into the basement or crawl space because of this plumbing arrangement.
This rainwater is then pumped OUT of the house by a sump pump. If the power fails due to the storm or if the sump pump wears out and fails to work, the incoming rain water will FLOOD the basement or crawl space. |
| ||||||||
| THE V100 AUTOMATICALLY STOPS INCOMING WATER THROUGH THIS PIPE WHEN YOUR SUMP PUMP QUITS WORKING! | |||||||||
| This will give you valuable time to get a new sump pump or wait out the time it takes until the power is restored. | |||||||||
